The Peach Tart is Shaking Her Head About These 911 Calls

Have your heard about the crazies calling 911 these days?

A few months back some nutcase in Florida called 911 three times from McDonald’s because she was told they were out of Chicken McNuggets. She was cited for misuse of 911 emergency services.

Then just this week there were two other crazy 911 calls reported
.

Below is a transcript of a woman in Wisconsin who called 911 to report a drunk driver.

Dispatcher: Clark County 911

Mary Strey: Somebody's really drunk driving down Granton Road.

Dispatcher: ...Which way are they going?

Mary Strey: They are going, um...

Dispatcher: Towards Granton or towards Neillsville?

Mary Strey: Towards Granton.

Dispatcher: Okay are you behind them?

Mary Strey: No, I am them.

Dispatcher: You am them?

Mary Strey: Yes, I am them.

Dispatcher: Okay, so you want to call and report that you're driving drunk?

Mary Strey: Yes

Deputies say 49-year-old Mary Strey from Granton made the call and did pull over when the dispatcher asked her to. A deputy had her do field sobriety tests. The report shows she blew a 0.17, nearly twice the legal limit for driving. Deputies ticketed her for DWI.

If that’s not strange enough, this one is disturbing and wrong in so many ways.

A Findlay Ohio woman called 911 to report a crime of passion in her home.

What was the crime?

Her daughter (no age mentioned) had performed oral sex on her husband. (He’s the girl’s stepfather.)

I think that’s against the law of basic human appropriateness, but unfortunately there’s no legislation against oral sex in the state of Ohio.

But oddly enough, the woman wasn’t actually upset about the blow job—she was upset because her husband said that the daughter gave a better blow job.

I’m haven’t been able to find out anything further than this but am hoping that the police took the daughter (if she is a minor) into protective custody. The girl is going to need some serious therapy.

I’m still shaking my head.

Good grief, that last one....Disturbing on too many levels.

Oh lordy. Just when you think people can't get any stupider....

Hah I read about the blow job! My good friend is an ER doctor and he said that a few times people who were waiting have called 911 to try to get seen faster, from the waiting room!

The Peach Tart said...

Punch - well I have a serious issue if she was a minor. Irregardless, its just sick.

Green-Eyed Momster - I agree

lifein3dee - oh there's so many people eat up with the dumbass

Mr. Condescending - I believe it

Wow! That's some crazy-assed shit! Earlier this year I laughed at a report they had on the news when some lady in Detroit had called 911 'cause Popeye's ran out of chicken during a promotion they had and wondered how she was going to feed her family of 5........

Secretia said...

It is a big issue with me if the girl is under 18.

The mother was a fool to admit she is an inadequate lover too.

There's no legislation against oral sex in Ohio? That is surprising.

Methinks we need to create a new emergency number to call...an additional number...maybe two additional numbers. Besides 911, we could have 6911 for personal sexual inadequacy, and 32911 (DA911) for DUMB ASS emergencies, as in, I am a moron, and I need arresting, or the clerk at McDonald's did not give me my fries and he/she needs arresting. I am sure there are other contingencies we need to consider also. Gotta love the dumbing down of America.

The first two were funny but that last one is really disturbing. People never fail to amaze me with the stupid things they do.

Coffeypot said...

If the girl is over 18 have her and her mother call me for an unbiased contest to see who's better. I'll report the results as soon as they cum in. :-)

LivingDeadNurse said...

omg..funny except the last one thats just gross

blueviolet said...

People are completely nuts! 911 is not a therapy session!

That last call was just downright sickening.

Little Ms Blogger said...

What a sick mom which only reinforces the question of - if you need a license to own a gun, why don't you need one to be a parent?

MeanDonnaJean said...

"The girl is going to need some serious therapy."

I think the whole damn bunch of 'em needs some serious-ass therapy....'n perhaps a couple o' years behind bars for both the mother-daughter-fellatio-team 'n the mother-daughter-fucker whose reapin' all the benefits o' same.

wow...I feel like people just lost the good sense they had over night. Am I the only one who feels like she woke up in crazy land?

Chelsea Handler had the "I am them" drunk story last night. So funny that said those words. One of the comedians jokes was, "I've gotten drunk and had a one night stand, but she got drunk and screwed herself." Hee hee.

Stupidity knows no bounds and you just showed the proof. We just don't seem too far removed from the cave sometimes.

Isn't it about for a law that requires people to pass some kind of test before being allowed to use a phone?

Chocolate Covered Daydreams said...

Those are all disturbing. The lady driving drunk should've just called a taxi to drive her home instead of getting a DWI.

Blessed said...

Okay I was laughing so hard this might post twice but as I was saying.

As a person that has called the police to warn them that they would need to come quickly(someone was irritating me) I have to hang my head.

I believe the words were: You can come get him now or you can come get him later in a body bag.

It is amazing how quickly they'll come...oh the joys of youth.

Blessed said...

Oh but NOT laughing at the girl and the stepdad issue. CPS had better have come and quickly.

diane said...

These people are on the forefront of the "dumbing down" process.

What planet do these people come from. Assuming the "daughter" is over the age of consent (if not, shoot the bastard) this woman is calling 911 because she's pissed with her husband??? There are some VERY strange people about!

I might have misunderstood, but how can you expect to be a successful tart of any colour if you're not into blow jobs.... jaust asking lol lol

Real life is so much stranger and over-the-top than any fiction printed on the face of the earth.

I'd heard about the second one, hadn't heard about the first and still don't believe the whole scenario in the third!

Oh, and I enjoyed your first comment on this post very much!

Peachie, how people can be so stupid.
The first two were funny!
Hope you're having a great Sunday!

Regarding the bizarre third case, it should be noted that all that was said in the original online newspaper report (www.thecourier.com) was a single line in the Local News section, taken from the public records of the Findlay Police department:

A woman called the police early Saturday morning during an argument with her husband after he claimed that the woman's daughter performed oral sex on him, and the daughter was better at it.

I suspect that this was a case of the husband making it up to annoy his wife, rather than describing something that actually happened. Presumably the police went round to establish the truth of the matter, and drew their own conclusions.

I imagine that the ‘crime of passion’ which it was described as by others who picked up the story was a tongue-in-cheek reference to the mother’s crime of wasting police time.

Of course that’s not to say it couldn’t have happened. We can only hope that in this case it was simply a case of combined idiocy between husband and wife.

The authorities should send bills to people who waste their time.

Chelsie - yes we do live in crazy ass times and the crazies seem to be multiplying at a rapid rate

jules - I love Chelsea. I wish I'd seen that.

Me-Me King - I know scary as hell

Monkey Man - so many people just seem unconscious

From the O-Zone - obviously not

Chocolate Covered Daydreams - you would think

diane - yes they wrote the book it seems

Riot Kitty - I know it

af1blog - i don't get it either with that threesome. As far as me and BJs, not sure what you mean.

My name is PJ - thanks. Truth is often stranger than fiction.

Betty Monousos - enjoy your Sunday

Simon - who knows, there's always some truth and some embellishment in most every story

Dedene - I agree.

The first caller was rightfully charged with misusing the 911 system. They should also have been charged with stupidity.

The second caller at least had the right intentions by reporting themselves and getting off the road. Stupid to drive drunk, nonetheless.

Lastly, the mother called for the wrong reasons. Not that her daughter, if underage, was abused, but that she was upset about not being better. Since her feelings were hurt, she uses the law to get back at the husband.

she should be charged with something here too. Not sure what though.

Sweet Jeebus!

The first lady called because they wouldn't give her money back after they realized they were out of the nuggets she ordered. McDonald's should have refunded her cash, not told her to just "pick another item off the menu 'cos they don't do refunds." It's 2009! What big establishment out there can't process a simple refund?! The woman's big issue was not knowing the local police departments NON-EMERGENCY phone number, which most people don't, especially if they are in a restaurant in a town other than the one they live in. I get her annoyance when they refused to give her money back, but she went about it all wrong. 911 over the cost of a nugget meal? Sheesh!

The drunk lady's call can be laughed at 'cos thankfully she didn't kill anyone. Goodness!

The blow job one sickens me. I don't even know what to say to that one.

My hubby and I followed and reported a DWI person late one night...and it sure wasn't ourselves! Either that woman was smart to realize she was doing the wrong thing, or just crazy...or both!

That second call is so wrong on so many levels...

What is wrong with people? Seriously! Being out of Chicken Mcnuggets is absolutely an emergency. How can this poor woman be expected to do without? It's not right I tell you.

Peach - just a joke really... in any event it's probably the "common language" thing again - "I think that’s against the law of basic human appropriateness, but unfortunately there’s no legislation against oral sex in the state of Ohio" I read as meaning BJs seemed just plain wrong to you - obviously not and I guess it must be me that got it wrong! ;)

The Peach Tart said...

Matty - how about bad parenting

Akilah - yes that was stupid on McDonald's part

Cora - I know girlfriend

buffalodick - you'll have to blog about that

kys - yes they do

Stacy - she should have just taken a taxi or had a friend pick her up

Unknown Mami - perhaps she was having a nugget withdrawal
